Under Transport Canada regulations, any person who handles, offers for transport, or transports dangerous goods must be adequately trained and hold a valid TDG training certificate. This includes warehouse staff packing boxes, forklift drivers loading trailers, and administrative staff signing shipping documents.
Validity periods depend on the mode of transport. A TDG by Ground certificate is valid for three (3) years.
