Who needs TDG by Air (IATA) training?
Under national and international law, anyone who prepares, packages, marks, labels, documents, or handles dangerous goods intended for air transport must undergo certified training. This includes shippers, packers, freight forwarders, cargo acceptance staff, and ground handling personnel.
How long is the TDG by Air (IATA) certificate valid?
Unlike ground and sea transport (which are valid for 3 years), a TDG training certificate for air transport (IATA) is legally valid for 24 months (2 years) from the date of issue. Because aviation regulations are exceptionally strict and update annually, recurrent training must be completed before the 24-month expiration mark.
The course includes a final evaluation to verify your understanding of complex air transport regulations. If a worker does not achieve the passing grade, they can review the material and retake the test at no additional cost to ensure total compliance and confidence before handling air shipments.
